Chartron & Trebuchet Rully 2016/2021
Country/Region of Origin: France

Region: France, Bourgogne

Grape variety: Chardonnay

Winemaking process: Hand-picked in small crates, the grapes are carefully sorted so that only the best are used. Winemaking is traditional, with alcoholic fermentation followed by malolactic fermentation, and the wine is then aged for 12 months in neutral French oak barrels (to soften it, rather than add wood and vanilla flavours through new oak).

Tasting notes: Golden yellow colour with green highlights. The wine is a pure expression of the Cote Chalonnaise: minerality with chalky notes, freshness with a great acidity holding together the finish, elegance with orange blossom and hawthorn notes.
