Background: Santa Gloria is a leading brand from the award-winning Santa Alicia Winery. David González, an inveterate perfectionist with thirty years' experience, is Santa Alicia's chief winemaker producer. Much of the grapes for this wine are sourced from the Maipo region, which surrounds Chile's capital Santiago. The Central Valley region runs for 400km south of Santiago, where plantings are dominated by the well-known "international varieties".

Santa Alicia is a past winner of 'Chilean Winery of the Year.

Tasting notes: Deep ruby red colour, this Cabernet has intense ripe red fruits on the nose with notes of eucalyptus. On the palate, it is rounded with sweet tannins and flavours of ripe cherry, plum and chocolate.
