Grape variety: Syrah

Winemaking process: Sambuca di Sicilia, located 40 miles southwest of Palermo, has been producing wine for centuries, and Cantine Cellaro’s wines are an incomparable expression of the historical region. The Syrah grapes are grown on the hillside vineyards of Sambuca and the grape variety was introduced to Sicily in the early 90s. The grapes macerate with the skins for 10-15 days before fermentation and maturation in stainless steel.
