Background: The vineyard of the Masseto estate is located in Tuscany, in Bolgheri. This wine-growing area enjoys a Mediterranean climate strongly influenced by the presence of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Grape variety: Merlot (97%) & Cabernet franc (3%)

Vinification and ageing: Harvested manually, the grapes are destemmed and then gently pressed before vatting by gravity. Plot vinification. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, accompanied by two to three pump-overs per day. Maceration from 21 to 25 days. Malolactic fermentation in barrels (50% new oak). After 12 months of ageing, assembly then additional aging of 3 months before bottling and a rest period until its marketing.

Tasting notes: The dress reveals an intense purple hue. The nose exhales with a beautiful freshness fragrances of ripe cherry and undergrowth. The palate harmoniously combines power and aromatic intensity.
