Chateau Bauduc Sauvignon Blanc
Chateau Bauduc Bordeaux Sauvignon Blanc 2018 [75cl] France

A crisp, dry white wine, made from the 25 acres of Sauvignon Blanc vines that surround the Château. Our Bordeaux Blanc has been the house white at Gordon Ramsay’s three Michelin star restaurant for twelve vintages on the trot, a ‘special selection’ of Rick Stein’s for a decade and, more recently, the prestige house white at the Hotel du Vin. 'De-lish'

'Bottled under screwcap. This is 100% Sauvignon Blanc in this vintage. A very varietal and fruit-dominated style here, with yellow capsicum underpinning the notes of peach and tangerine. The palate carries the same characteristics, defined and reinforced by the slightly pungent, gooseberry, capsicum character. Lots of vivacity here, but also some substance, a sandy weight to it, and a pithy, bitter-fruit finish. Attractive.
