Background: The mountainous Abruzzo region of central Italy is situated halfway up the 'boot' of Italy. Cantina Orsogna is an award-winning Abruzzo winery specialising in native grapes of the region such as Perricone, Cococciola and Pecorino. Orsogna are committed to the biodynamic principles by which they make their wine and have many certified Demeter biodynamic wines. This Pinot Grigio is certified 'Demeter' biodynamic, this means that the vineyard has been subjected only to completely natural processes.

Tasting notes: This Pinot Grigio has a copper colour, the nose is intense, floral, with yellow fruits, hints of ethereal; on the palate is fresh, intense and fruity. Biodynamic wine is often considered superior to conventional wines, with better flavour, superior aroma, and more pleasant texture.
