Medusa Albarino
Country/Region of Origin: Spain

Rgion: Spain, Rias Baixas

Grape variety: Albarino

Background: Hardly surprising as this little beauty is from Albariño's home Rías Baixas. A wet and breezy corner of Galicia, that's more Cornwall than Spain, and bagpipes are a national treasure - it's a happy hunting ground for crisp summer whites. Hailing from the cool Val do Salnés, a commune described by Decanter Magazine as the "true identity of Rías Baixas Albariño".

Tasting notes: The Medusa is bursting with peach, citrus peel and a whiff of sea air. Textured, fresh and rounded wine which is dry and not too sharp, with citrus and apple peel notes on the nose.
