Poggio Landi Rosso Di Montalcino 2017/21
Country/Region of Origin: Italy

Region: Italy, Tuscany

Grape variety: Sangiovese

Winemaking process: A fruity, refreshing and elegant wine. Traditionally made with a spontaneous fermentation using native yeast for 15 days at a controlled temperature. It is then aged for 12 months in 54 HL untoasted French oak barrels. Refined in bottle for 3 months minimum.

Tasting notes: The cask-aged Rosso di Montalcino from the Tuscan viticultural region presents itself in the glass in bright ruby red. This red wine from the Old World offers wonderfully expressive aromas of blueberry, blackberry, mulberry and blackcurrant, rounded off by other fruity nuances that contribute to the barrel development. Intense aromas with distinct notes of red fruits. Soft and elegant on the palate. Boasts excellent drinkability and a long finish.
