Winemaking Process: Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are blended with Merlot for softness, Cabernet Franc for tannins, Petit Verdot for an enhanced mouthfeel and Malbec for roundeness. It is aged for 10 months in French Oak barrels (59%) American Oak Barrels (29%) and stainless steel vats. Artisanal winemaking techniques, including cold soaking and extended maceration are used to enhance and soften the tannins, deepen the colour and intensify the flavours.
Tasting Notes: Aromas of lush black cherry, blackberry and cassis draw you in. Round, rich seamless tannins provide a robust backbone and supple mid-palate. Notes of cedar, vanilla and a hint of mocha linger on the finish.
Food Pairing: This is a perfect wine for pairing with steak, barbecued meats or hearty roast vegetables.
