Region: Loire Valley, France
Grape Variety: 100% Cabernet Franc
Winemaking Process: Fermentation lasts 15 days on skins with pumping over twice a day. Pressing and final fermentation of clear juice transferred to vats for malolactic fermentation. Matured in oak.
Tasting Notes: Very beautiful deep red colour with purple reflections. Very fine nose on aromas of red fruits: cherry, strawberry jam, blackberry that mingle with notes reminiscent of black olive and roasted coffee. Supple attack, beautiful tannic and silky structure. Very nice balance between warmness and a beautiful freshness typical from the Loire Valley. The finish extends for a long time on fruity and vanilla notes.
Food Pairing: This wine pairs well with lamb dishes, vegetarian, poultry dishes as well as goats milk and cheese.
