Chat, Rauzan Segla Aoc Margaux 2011

Region: Medoc, France

Grape Variety: Caberent Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot & Cabernet Franc

Tasting Notes: Deep dark ruby in colour. On the nose there are intense aromas of black fruits and blueberries combined with a touch of vanilla. Notes of coca powder and peppermint develop after areation. This red blend is fresh and smooth on the entry and then dazzles on the palate.

Food Pairing: Chateau Rauzan Segla pairs well with classic meat dishes. It pairs particularly well with beef, lamb, duck as well as game meat and roasted chicken. The wine's balanced structure and tannins also make it suitable for Asian dishes, rich fish like tuna, mushroom based dishes and pasta.
