Grape Variety: 50% Merlot, 30% Petit Verdot, 20% Cabernet Franc
Tastning Notes: Deep ruby in colour with violet reflections. It has intense aromas, with notes of dark fruit black cherry and blueberry, alongside sweet spices, leather and hints of Mediterranean herbs and mint. On the palate it is balanced and harmonious, showing a dense and velvety, yet slightly austere, tannin structure. The paalte is full-bodied with a plush, medium-rich mouthfeel. On the finish it is long, savoury and polished with lingering black fruit.
Food Pairing: This Tuscan red pairs well with beef tagliata, braised red meats, grilled lamb chops and game dishes. It also pairs with with pasta and risotto dishes and casseroles.
