Grape Variety: 100% Aglianico

Tasting Notes: Deep red with violet reflections. Complex and intense, red fruit with clear notes of spice and vanilla. Slightly tannic, tannins are firm and smooth, clean and dry on the finish. A dark, brooding wine with rich aromas of chocolate, mocha and ripe black cherries. The intense, savoury palate balances the weighty fruit with the ripe, supple tannins beautifully and finishes on a long, smoky, chocolate note.

Food Pairing: Best served at 16-18 degrees celcius. Pairs well with grilled steak, lamb shanks, osso buco, meat ragu, pasta with tomato sauce and aged cheeses.
