Costa Arente Amarone Della Valpolicella DOCG 2018/19
Country/Region of Origin: Italy

Region: Veneto, Italy

Grape Variety: 50% (approx) Corvina, 20% (approx) Corvinone, 15% (approx) Rondinella and 15% (Approx) Other Red Grape Varieties

Tasting Notes: This an earthy, decadent Amarone with plenty of menthol, liquorice, tar and ash character. Full-bodied, plush and fruit-forward, but with a solid backbone of chewy tannins. A harmonious red, with a pretty, mineral-laced nose and dusty tannins well-meshed to flavours of mulberry and blackberry fruit, dried herb and tea rose. Offers a subtle, spiced finish.

Food Pairing: This red wine pairs well with game, main dishes featuring red meat, meat-based pasta or rice dishes.
