Tasting Notes: Deep and dark with a bright crimson edge. This wine has aromas of redskin lollies, blackcurrant and menthol. Hints of char and spice support the bright fruit. Cassis and liqourice dominate the palate. The plush mid palate is followed by mouthfilling tannins, providing great length whilst carrying the blue fruits and subtle cigar box notes.

Food Pairing: This wine is a superb accompaninment to beef, rich game dishes or a good cheddar cheese.
