Tasting Notes: A full bodied red wine with dark fruit flavours like plum, blackberry and black cherry, often with a hint of raisin or dried fruit. There are notes of vanilla, liqourice and spice from aging. It is described as balanced with a pleasant fruit acidity and a touch of residual sweetness, leading to a smooth and creamy palate with a fresh finish. 

Food Pairing: This versatile wine pairs well with rich first courses, pasta with sausage, vegetable couscous with beef meatballs and savoury dishes like smokey charcuterie or Mediterranean- styled swordfish.
