Casa Do Lago White

Region: Lisboa, Portugal

Grape Variety: Chardonnay and Arinto de Bucelas

Tasting Notes: Dry and medium bodied, perfectly ripe grapes have given this wine a pronounced fresh aroma on the nose of lemon, white flowers and a touch of honeysuckle. The palate has an excellent balance ofmouth filling green apple and melon fruit with white blossom, greengages and an unsual white pepper-like spiceiness. Nice and long on the finish that has a refreshing citrus tang.

Food Pairing: Excellent on its own or with Mediterranean food or with dishes such as lemon chicken, creamy pasta and white fish.
