Tasting Notes: Elegant and refined with a complex nose of violets, red berries and mineral notes. The palate is characterised by juicy red cherry and dark fruit flavours with hints of dark chocolate, licorice and a firm structured and mineral driven finish. 

Food Pairing: This wine pairs well with rich meats like roast beef, game such as venison, duck or pigeon and lamb as well as stews such as Boeuf Bourguignon. Strong cheeses like Epoisses and poultry like roasted quail or chicken in a red wine sauce are also excellent pairings.
