Tasting Notes: There is massive fruit concentration on the nose which is utterly gorgeous, rich and ripe and has the merest hint of oak. Dark, dense purple colour. Full bodied, smooth sweet mouthfeel and very ripe flavours, huge concentration and super rich palate, the essence of Montepulciano. Great purity of fruit and silky texture. Garnet red. Intense and persistent, spicy (tobacco and jam), aromas of licorice, fruity, a little ethereal. A full bodied wine, soft and balanced. Intense and persistent.
